ANBF Website for 2012

The ANBF Website has been up and running since September 2011 and as many of you might have observed the site has been fairly static in terms of content since late last year.  Activity on the website has been mainly confined to the updating of ratings on the monthly basis.   This has been due to bedding down the site and how it will function in terms of material from the national body and respective states.

With this now behind us and the “boxing year” for 2012 well underway we plan on having a very active website from now on.   This will include articles on issues of interest, brief reviews of recent Australian title fights and notice of upcoming promotions.  We also intend to present regular articles on great Australian title fights going way back in the archives – there are many of these that in their time would rival in terms of public interest, quality and attendance many of the world title fights now held.  

In additional to material from the ANBF national body there will be material from the respective states in their website pages.

The ANBF rules are now on the website and can be downloaded.  These can be found under the “About the ANBF” section of the website.  Respective rules form the state branches will also soon be on the website and these will also be available for downloading.

We are looking forward to having this website provide you up to date information on the ANBF and Australian boxing.
